“Memberships are up this year by 14 new members,” says Ray Blair, MRCC Executive Director. “We have new members joining every month.” We’re looking for volunteers to help us support the community. If you have a desire to help out at events, create flyers, brochures, get on the phone, meet and greet people, just lend your ideas, come to our meetings. Perhaps you’d like to be a speaker or know of one. Are you a retired business person? Would you like to write an article? Speak at a meeting?
We would love to have you. Send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know!
The McKenzie Chamber has just published the New Comer’s Guide to Life on The McKenzie River. In it, you will find resources, suggestions, services and how to adapt to your new environment. (If you are a member, get your business mentioned!)

The Chamber is offering a new benefit for members. Do you have new clients? You can now purchase a Welcome Basket to give to new members of the community. In it, you will find brochures, guides, the recently published Newcomer’s Guide to LIfe on the McKenzie River from the Chamber, and a ton of information about the McKenzie River in a beautifully crafted basket. Plus, you are going to want to add a brochure about your own business! For more information, contact Nadine Scott at Nadine@windermere.com.
